Noel Cooper, PsyD
Director, Licensed Clinical Psychologist (CA PSY27664)

Dr. Cooper is a licensed clinical psychologist and assistant professor in the PsyD program at California Baptist University. She earned her doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary, along with an M.A. in Theology. She focuses on helping people improve their relationships and communication skills at home, at work, and with friends. Dr. Cooper operates from an intentionally integrative approach, and specializes in working with clients from a faith-based perspective. At Psychological Services of Riverside, Dr. Cooper serves as the director, provides clinical supervision to doctoral students clinicians, and offers individual and couples therapy.

Thomas Donovan, PsyD
Supervisor, Licensed Clinical Psychologist (CA PSY28556)

Dr. Donavan is a licensed clinical psychologist who serves as the assistant director at PSR. He is also an assistant professor of psychology at California Baptist University. As professor, Dr. Donavan primarily teaches courses in the doctoral clinical psychology program. He earned his doctorate from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. At Psychological Services of Riverside, Dr. Donavan provides clinical supervision to doctoral candidates and offers psychotherapy services to adults and couples. He is certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy.

Ray Kim

Ray Kim, PsyD
Supervisor, Licensed Clinical Psychologist (CA PSY31528)

Dr. Kim is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned his doctorate from the Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. He has extensive experience providing rehabilitative services to incarcerated individuals and to persons with inpatient forensic commitments mandated by the criminal/civil court system. Additionally, Dr. Kim enjoys working in outpatient settings helping adolescents and adults navigate the complexities of life in order to live a more full, healthy life. At Psychological Services of Riverside, Dr. Kim provides clinical supervision to doctoral student clinicians as well as individual therapy to adults.

Jessie Lowell, PsyD
Supervisor, Licensed Clinical Psychologist (CA PSY23333)

Dr. Lowell is a licensed clinical psychologist and associate professor in the PsyD program at California Baptist University. She earned her doctorate from Loma Linda University and has specialized training in early childhood mental health, pediatric psychology, and assessment. Prior to her faculty appointment, Dr. Lowell provided clinical assessment and intervention services at a variety of children's hospitals. Her clinical work focuses on the assessment and treatment of parents, infants, and children; the behavioral, emotional, and mental outcomes of early trauma and adverse life events; caregiver-child attachment and parenting in early childhood; faith development; the effects of prenatal trauma and exposures; and infertility and fertility treatment outcomes. At Psychological Services of Riverside, Dr. Lowell provides clinical supervision to doctoral candidates and offers assessment services.

Jill Morgan, PhD
Licensed Psychologist (CA PSY12383)

Dr. Morgan is a licensed clinical psychologist. She earned her doctorate from California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant University. Dr. Morgan completed her postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute. She attempts to understand clients using a relational, social, spiritual, cultural framework. At Psychological Services of Riverside, Dr. Morgan provides clinical supervision to doctoral student clinicians.

Veronica Regueiro, PsyD, Licensed Psychologist (CA29937)

Veronica Regueiro is a bilingual health psychologist with specialties in pediatrics, behavioral health consultation, and comprehensive psychodiagnostic testing. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from Biola University and completed an APA-accredited internship in child and adolescent psychology at Philhaven Hospital. Dr. Regueiro also completed a formal post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Dr. Regueiro is licensed in the state of California and is credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.  At Psychological Services of Riverside, Dr. Regueiro provides bilingual clinical supervision to doctoral student clinicians.

Veola Vazquez, PhD
Licensed Psychologist (CA PSY16736)

Dr. Vazquez’s clinical work focuses on working with women, children, parents, and families seeking help with the emotional and behavioral struggles that result from the challenges of balancing family, work, and relationships. She will work with you to set goals and develop strategies to resolve these difficulties, live a life that fits with your values, and deepen your connections. She also specializes in working with Christian clients.

These clinicians are working toward their Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree at California Baptist University and practicing as they learn. They are able to do psychotherapy and psychological testing and have a variety of backgrounds, interests, and skills. Their services allow PSR to reach out to the community and serve those who may not be able to afford typical fees for a psychologist. When you call for an appointment, the PSR staff will match you with a student clinician suited to your need.
